Cala d’hort is located in a nature reserve 11 kilometers from Saint Josep de sa Talia. It is undoubtedly one of the best beaches in Ibiza. Its main attraction is the stunning island of Es Vedra which rises to 385 meters in the sea off the creek. It is characterized by a large, open and irregular coastline populated by high cliffs and pine trees that surround it. The winds are soft, so it is a nice quiet beach perfect for families to enjoy.

In it there are three excellent fish restaurants. Two of them on the beach, while the third is Boldado, accessed it from the road.

The cliffs that surround this white sand beach and crystal clear waters are a privileged site to enjoy the magnificent sunsets on the island.

Cala Jondal is one of the most beautiful beaches of Ibiza. It lies south of the island, near the airport.

Cala Jondal is now one of the most fashionable beaches of the island. It is divided into different areas. One is the Tropicana beach bar-restaurant. Las Salinas is the trendy beach in Ibiza during the summer and one of the most famous of the island. Reference point for the rich and famous, is immersed in the Natural Park of Ses Salines, at the southern end of the island.

It is a long, flat beach of fine sand with warm turquoise waters that barely cover a few inches as we move further away from the coast. Also due to the rolling terrain we can find large pools of shallow water when the tide is responsible for keeping clean.

The beach is about 300 meters long, white and fine sand. At the end of this you’ll find rocky areas. Its crystal clear waters are not very deep, so it is advisable to go with young children.

Cala Vadella Ibiza

East of Cala Jondal find Sa Caleta, which can only be reached by a dirt road. This cristaline beach and white sand is also known as Es Bou Nou. It is a quiet and very sheltered from the wind, very popular among the people of Ibiza to go on weekends with children and families.

The beach is surrounded by fishermen’s houses and we found an unique restaurant, well known by the people who frequent this area, known as Sa Caleta beach.

Near this beach you can take a trip to the nearby Phoenician Village of Sa Caleta seventh century BC declared a World Heritage Site and is the most important exponent of the early Phoenician colonization of Ibiza.

Benirrás is one of the most famous beaches of Ibiza. It is enclosed in mountainous areas with abundant Mediterranean vegetation. It has long trails of which we can enjoy walking. The beach has a length of about 140 meters. The structure of the closed bay protected from the strong winds blowing in the area.

It is not declared as nudist beach, but this is common practice on the trails leading to the beach.

Playa d’en Bossa is one of the most popular beaches in Ibiza. It is located in the municipal district of San Jose and is one of the main tourist areas of the island.

It is the longest beach on the island and during the day is an infinite space ideal for relaxing sun loungers and parasols. Throughout the entire beach find different establishments like bars Lounge with modern Balinese beds and luxurious meals.

There are a lot of services available, such as the opportunity to kitesurf and windsurf, or rent a jet ski. Also fun younger is guaranteed. The area has air castles, trampolines, carousels and bumper cars among other things.

But also in Playa d’en Bossa are some of the most iconic island night pubs, such as Bora Bora beach bar or nightclub Space. 

Cala Gracio is located near of San Antonio, but distant enough to keep away the masses of tourists. It is a typical Ibiza beach with fine sand and clear water. It has the advantage that it directly next to the hotel has no beach, so it can be quite enjoy privacy.

It is a deep creek, because it has no waves or currents. It is therefore ideal to go with kids. With them you can also enjoy walks through the pine forests near the fishermen’s huts and rocks.

If we make a short walk along the coast, we arrive at Cala Gracioneta. A tiny beach, in similar conditions, but with more privacy. It is El Chiringuito bar.

Before reaching the creek, in the way we will find the Aquarium Cap Blanc. The aquarium is actually a cave with landlocked. Here we can enjoy the native species of the area, which is located in a small natural lake in the rock. Among the species we should mention the silvias and mantas, and especially the magnificent specimens of mero. The aquarium is now a recognized center for sea turtle recovery.
